All employees and volunteers working for NNWEC have a duty under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and Children Act 2004 to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and including vulnerable adults.
NNWEC frontline staff go through rigorous DBS check procedures.
All NNWEC employees receive training so that they can respond quickly to at – risk young people and vulnerable adults.
NNWEC works closely with local Safeguarding Boards and have established policies and procedures to support our commitment to the welfare and safety of all our service users and employees.
